Cotton and cotton blends; All hand dyed with natural fibers, blues were dyed with indigo by my friend, yellow dyed with goldenrod and onion skins and brown dyed with black walnuts by me; Machine sewn; Mountain block in center with improv around it.

Description from maker

I made mountain block as experiment for another quilt but it just felt like it wanted to be for this block Not really, I just went with feeling. I didn’t want to to feel too rigid so I added the diagonals to give some movement.

Visual description

Traditional pattern, with a soft color palette of grey, teal. blue, and peach. Features symmetrical mountain peaks and diagonal corner stripes.
