I wanted a pattern that wrapped around an inner fabric from an old dress from my girl childhood. The name of the pattern also resonates.; The denim and black fabric come from pants I inherited at 16 when my Nana passed away. I didn’t come get to come out to her but I think she’d be so delighted by where I am now. I’ve held onto those pants for 6 years. She was a big textile crafter; she’d be so pleased with where her pants ended up.
