Description FROM MAKER

I used a block from my friend using a plus sign motif—gender feels like an ever-expansive and additive process for me; I used a cotton dress I wore a lot when I was younger to bring in a piece of who I was into the block. I also had been picking up fabric just by happenstance in the trans flag colors and have started using that for a Manx patchwork quilt. I used some pieces of that for this block too.

Visual description

Four small cross pieces in each corner, with pink and grey floral fabric and navy novelty fabric that features small symbols. The four cross blocks are divided by one large cross that has cream and light blue floral fabric.
