“Hi Eliot!

I hope this block has managed to make its way to you safely from rainy Glasgow!

I made this block from scraps that were left over from garment sewing. I started sewing because finding clothes to fit— and celebrated — my non binary body was impossible. There’s no Wild Fang in Scotland! The best way that I could think of to express the joy of my gender was to create something from the clothes that made me feel exactly like myself; that makes me feel comfortable and loved and celebrated for who I am. The thought of all of these quilt blocks coming to you to literally wrap people in community love makes me feel so emotional— thank you for doing what you’re doing ❤︎
