Description from maker

I had very few considerations while making the block. My goal was to be spontaneous, to let the colors, shapes, and textures speak for themselves and decide what they wanted to be. My only vision was to not follow a pattern and incorporate various shapes and angles as I went. Like queer identity, it’s fluid, changes by the spontaneous nature of ourselves. There is no limitation or pattern to identity, rather it forms as we grow, change, and come into union with ourselves.
