"I wanted there to be some movement/fluidity, and this hexagon pattern allows a piece from the "inside" to be represented "outside" too, an important metaphor. The jellyfish fabric felt like it fit the theme nicely, too."

Visual description

A composition of hexagonal fabric pieces. The hexagons are light pink, teal, orange, fuchsia, and white, with patterns that feature flowers, polka dots, jellyfish, floods, and leopards. The hexagons are arranged in a honeycomb-like pattern, filling the entire block. They are also arranged to resemble flowers, with one hexagon in the center and six hexagonal petals surrounding it in a second color.
