Description from maker

I did! [the block] helped me to think about the emotions I feel when thinking about my gender expression (in my case: JOY!). I included a printed sheet with my block but I believe it said something like this: For me, gender and queerness has always been an organic and joyful experience of self discovery, so I allowed my process to be the same. I’m normally a big planner and super precise but for my block I chose to play in multi-sessions grabbing whatever colors called to me at the time—cutting and piecing without any real plan, just doing what felt right. That’s how my queer experience has been too. I’ve always just done what felt right for me. I feel so grateful to have had the space and support to be who I am!
