Thanks for creating this project. I’m new to quilting + new to feeling safe + stable enough to think about my gender. I hope to one day feel more confident in both.

This quilt block is made from old shirts, pants, pillow cases + masks. I chose this pattern because it reminded me of a hug or layers of soft protection around the bright yellow center.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this quilt turns out.
