“Dear Euphoria Quilt Project,

I’m an agender person who has always related more to the shapes & beings I find in nature more than human bodies — even long before understanding my queerness. I’m obsessed with galls — the bizarre growths that insects induce on plants to provide shelter & food for their babies. They are a mystery of science, a scene for metamorphosis, an art collaboration, & a phenomenon in which I’ve found meaning & solace. Here is my queer little gall square.
