“Dear Eliot,

Thank you for organizing and facilitating The Euphoria Quilt Project for us all! I am relatively new to quilting and am so impressed by the genuine community spirit of its practitioners. It warms my heart.

This quilt is coming from Sunnyside, NY (in Queens). And I’m mailing it just before the extended deadline.

I go by “Tine” mostly, but you can use my full name: “Kristina Lee”

This 12'“ patch is comprised of worn shirts in black, white, plaid, and grey. When I think about how I express my gender, it has so much to do with how I dress on a day-to-day basis. The T-shirt is a classic staple of my wardrobe. The patches in this block have been carried by my body through days in which I felt femme, butch, non-binary, and / or boyish. They are covered in sweat and scent. I have styled them to suit my mood and expression as I walk in public and make art at home. They are a part of me, and I am delighted to share them with you and the quilting community.
