Not your grandma's gender (self given title); I like working with English paper piecing and this was something that I can make quick and easy.

I used fabrics that are the colors of the nonbinary pride flag but mixed them up because gender is not always orderly or what someone might think gender should look like

I didn't hear about this quilt project until late so I was working on my quilt block a few nights before the due date. I pulled fabric from my scrap bin and had the hexagon templates handy so I decided to do something with EPP (English Paper Piecing). It took some time with the lay out of the block and rearranging the hexagons till I got something that I liked. I used fusible interfacing to stick the hexagons to the fabric and then zigzag stitched around them to attach the hexagons to the background fabric.
