Description from maker

The vintage fabric was a gift from a childhood neighbor who was like a second mother to me and played a big role in my young life exposing me to music, movies, books, and ways of thinking that I wasn’t exposed to at home. I felt accepted in her house in ways I didn’t feel at home. She is no longer alive, but I like to think she would be proud to know that some of her beloved fabric is part of this quilt project.
