Cycles (self-given title)

I used a fabric I hand dyed from a costume I previously made. Giving new life to things which one brought me joy, but we're no longer used, healed the part of me that says you can't emotionally hold more than one thing at a time; I enjoyed the play of offsetting one of each of the interior blues. The square is a 4x4 grid, and the internal four blues were offset by 2; to me, this gives the idea of concentric movement, and how things - and life - move cyclically.

Visual description

A composition of 16 square patches of the same size, each divided diagonally into two triangles, arranged to create a combination of larger squares and triangles. The triangles are in teal, light turquoise, and brown. The brown triangles form a symmetrical geometric pattern across the block.
